dark skyes

This week is great for stargazing in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

This week is great for stargazing in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are currently 5 planets visible in the morning sky. On a clear morning, if you go out about 45 minutes before sunrise (about 7am) and look South, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury are all visible.

If you want to find out more about our fantastic night sky then why not come along to one of the events in our Dark Sky Festival which runs from the 15 to 21 February. http://ow.ly/XDak0
